  4. Dear Sir/Madam:

  6.     I have some questions regarding the capability of managing multiple
  7. connections from a single PC.  I've heard of a multi user IPX which is
  8. compatable with Multi-User DOS from Digital Research, is this true?
  9. Does this capability exist through the Novell API? Is this even possible
  10. with the current release of Novell products.
  11.  
  12.     Lets say I have a PC running a background TSR running a function to
  13. watch for mail messages being broadcast.  Maybe the PC is sitting in the
  14. lunchroom or something and mail comes in for a group of people eating lunch
  15. together.  If there is something running foreground and I see a message
  16. come in for me, I want to hotkey to the mail system and read my message.
  17. But, the foreground application is already logged in and I need to change
  18. privilidges for myself to read the mail but still maintain the foreground
  19. process's state.  Is there a a method for doing this?

  21.     I've done some research into the ConnectionID table information but
  22. gather this is the connection table maintained on the server and I can't
  23. manage my own.  I came across the shell maintaining a table of 8
  24. connections for up to eight servers, could I use this table for eight
  25. connections to one server?

  27.     It's kind of along the lines of what RemoteLanNode is doing or
  28. what is being done with the DigiBoard equipment and multiple users.  They
  29. must be incorporating these same questions into their existing products.
